I am sharing my story on how I travelled on Vistara from Delhi to Bangalore in Rs 855.
I am holder of Amazon ICICI Card and Flipkart Axis Card.
I have been using the intermiles app for shopping where it gives 5 miles per 100 and 6 miles per 100 in amazon and flipkart respectively.
I got intermiles through Dineout also. So I had accumulated around 25k intemiles majorly contributed by shopping (image attached).
So while booking I paid on intermiles the convenience fee using cred and it was only Rs 885. From Rs 885 CRED gave me a cashback of Rs 30
Hence the final price was Rs 855 (Image attached).
On the same day I booked same flight for my friend and it was Rs 8188 and by using IndusInd Bank Credit card I got discount of Rs1538 and the final price for her ticket was Rs 6650.(image attached).

Certainly for axis bank cards using GrabDeals portal can fetch few extra benefits but this is one benefit which i have got it. So if any members are not using Grabdeals or any such portal then they can join the Intermiles app.

Here is my referral link. I am not sure of the referral benefits but if you use it, it can have some benefits for me and you.

Thank you

Let's look at it in a different way.
You need to burn 21,220 intermiles to get DEL-BLR flight on 31/12/22. And to earn that many miles you'll have to spend min of ₹353,667, assuming you earn 6 IM every time.
The cash price of that flight is ₹7,079 (Skyscanner.com). So that gives a return of 2%, actual would be way worse.

Cashkaro for e.g. would give you cash and better reward rates.

As a joke quoting my fav US president "This is the worst trade deal in the history of trade deal" 😛
