Airtel Payments Bank has collaborated with NCRTC (National Capital Region Transport Corporation) to launch co-branded National Common Mobility Cards (NCMC). These cards, designed to enhance passenger convenience, include Debit, Prepaid, and Prepaid Payment Instruments for Mass Transit Solutions (PPI-MTS) options. "Exclusively issued by Airtel Payments Bank, these NCMC cards aim to streamline the travel experience for millions of commuters on Namo Bharat trains," Airtel Payments Bank said on Thursday.

Tap-and-Pay Technology for Secure Payments
Equipped with tap-and-pay technology, these cards facilitate quick and secure transactions at transit terminals, retail outlets, and other locations. Airtel Payments Bank also offers a PPI-MTS prepaid card option that can be used exclusively for transit payments, the official release said.

The co-branded NCMC cards are available for purchase at RRTS stations, making them easily accessible to commuters travelling on Namo Bharat trains and other transport modes. Users can also obtain these cards through the Airtel Payments Bank section on the Airtel Thanks app.

Additionally, NCMC-enabled prepaid and debit cards can be used for everyday transactions such as shopping and dining, making them a versatile choice for commuters, the bank explained.
