Did I make a mistake? My experience with HDFC CC Application...

I recently closed my father’s HDFC Business MoneyBack credit card, which had an 80k limit.

Shortly after, I applied for the HDFC Tata Neu+ credit card. During the application process, I noticed two card variants: Tata Neu+ Visa and Tata Neu+ RuPay. Initially, I intended to apply for the Tata Neu Infinity card, but unfortunately, the process ended up selecting Tata Neu+ instead as It was not displayed.

The card was approved with a 1L limit and was issued as LTF

A week ago, I noticed an offer on Paytm for the HDFC Freedom RuPay credit card, also as LTF. The platform displayed an estimated eligible limit of ₹2.8 lakhs, which left me surprised yet a bit disappointed since HDFC matches the limit with my father's existing card instead of providing the higher displayed limit.

I went ahead and applied for the Freedom RuPay credit card, and it was approved. However, as expected, the limit was matched to my existing credit card at 1L
Looking back, I feel I should have waited for a better card with a higher limit instead of rushing into this application, which may have cost me a better opportunity.

Do you think the displayed limit in Paytm (₹2.8 L) was realistic, or is it unpredictable? Should I stop regretting the decision and move on?

Me too in a spur of moment chose Nue+(no other option) while applying for Neu Infinity.
The application is in process. I wish it gets DECLINED.
Whatever. No Regrets. Let's move on.

No you still got a core card after first getting a cobranded card which is kind of hard in HDFC, so hang on to it and upgrade it at some point in the future after 6 months or more

Neu Infinity is only for those having 1.5L+ limit
