Hi Everyone,
I am an IIT(BHU) alum, 2019 batch.
Wanted to know if there is any way to get Diners black LTF under alumni program.
My salary is around 12L fixed and 90L bonus.
I contacted an HDFC RM, he said I am only eligible for diners privilege as only fixed salary is considered and bonus is not considered.
He suggested to get the card against FD, which i am not considering.
I don't have an HDFC account, but my Mom and Dad have HDFC imperia, so I can get imperia account on a new account.
Highest card limit is on my icici coral card : 18L
Apart from this I have icici Amazon, axis Flipkart, axis ace and indusind legend card.

Also, if you have any suggestions for a better card, I am all ears.

I fail to meet the old salary criteria of 1.75 by a small margin but I have an FD and savings with HFDC with some decent sums in both,
and planning to start accounts in parents name for FD purposes.

Hope I can push for a DCB LTF - any thoughts

The salary criteria for DCB seems to have been reduced to 1.5 lacs recently. You should email the cc team.

I mailed priority redressal email and they asked me to send the upgrade form filled and with my signature on it

However the form asks for credit card number.
1. I suppose I should provide only the last 4 digits or the full 14 digits? –( mine is diners privilege) Can any one confirm this?

2. The form also has a check box for authorising HDFC to debit my bank account for credit card payment for either the total amount due or only the minimum amount due (5 %)
Is this mandatory as well that I authorise auto debit ?

I have regalia with 10lakhs limit plus my salary is more than the 1.75lakhs pa. Last 6 months spend is above 6lakhs. But still not getting DCB. I am tired of asking my relationship manager. Last month she finally said she will get it approved but I had to submit documents. Has been a month now and still there have not come to collect documents.
I even threatened to move my banking account and no use.
Finally shifted to Axis Magnus

I sent mail and provided degree, payslip etc for conversion to dcb ltf.. however they are asking for bank account number since it is not mentioned in payslip for further investigation.. is it really safe to provide bank account number over group mail even though its hdfc bank.. the salary account is icici..
Not sure what investigation they are looking into tho.. also even if I provide them the account them, do banks really have access to check details from another bank?

Areeeee tu to FF wala lag raha hai.
College email me search kar "hdfc bank credit card".
If you don't have the college mails left - just Google it - you will find the link for dincers card for premier institutions.
What city are you in?

Hi I'm Currently Holding HDFC PAYTM Select with 1.5 Lakh Limit. How will I get DCB Under Alumini Program, Do i have to close this card or they will upgrade the same card.? If anyone have have gone through this, kindly share

Paytm select is co branded card not a core hdfc card so you can go ahead and apply. They will issue a seperate card if you fulfill the criteria.
