Discovering the Benefits of the AU LIT Credit Card

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience with the AU LIT credit card, which has been nothing short of amazing. Last month, I managed to get a return of around 10% on my spending, and here’s how it all added up:

Cashback Highlights:

Total Cashback Received: ₹1,600.00

Reward Points Breakdown:

Points Earned: 2,300

Each reward point is worth ₹0.25, so the 2,300 points I earned last month are equivalent to ₹575.00.


Although I don’t have the SBI Cashback card, the AU LIT credit card has not disappointed me at all. It not only gave me substantial cashback but also helped me rack up a ton of reward points. These points can be redeemed for a variety of rewards, making every purchase feel even more worthwhile.

In AU Lit card, they have two types of cashback features.

1) Milestone based in which on spending above 7500 you will get 5% cashback which is capped at ₹500 for one cycle of 30days. The same type also has a 2% cashback feature.
2) Catagory based cashback which is capped at 1000. It depends on which category you want to pick from grocery and apparel or you can pick both. Each category give 5% cashback.
I am using the combination of grocery + 7500 milestone feature, which gives me 1500 on spend of 20000, so the combination gives me 7.5% cashback on it.

I don't spend on apparel, so I decided not to opt for it, but if you can spend 20,000 on apparel every month then you can also get 5% cashback upto 1000.
Which can get you 2500 on total spend of 40,000 (including all the 3 features)

what all comes under grocery spends?
Also for 7500 milestone it says retail spends, does it count online spends as well?

Grocery spend like spend on blinkit, zepto and other grocery application which uses grocery MCC.
And in milestone online spend is also counted.

whats the expiry for reward points?

RP= 0.25 paisa*
Excluding E - voucher where it is 0.20 paisa.
RP expires after 2 years.
99+GST will be charged for each redemption.

Hi just applied and got a LIT card approved today, just asked for employer and income and offered 5lacs limit, options were zenith plus, altura or vetta idk, and lit.

For now I've confirmed LIT rupay, can anyone tell me if what is the max cap on RP and how much max should I spend on this card to get most out of it.
I've got a resort payment of several lacs due this month, and it would be useful to know what subscriptions I should get and whether I should use POS or UPI scan?
Also, MCC for rupay is sorted for these extra apparel stores and other merchant recognition?
If there is any issue with Rupay, I'll ask them to send a Visa instead.

And can you tell me if apparel add on is purchased along with 10× online rp and we scan and pay with you, do we get cb and rp both? Accelerated?

Not sure about scan and pay. But online I have tried, all benifits cashback and reward points are added seperately, each rewards schemes runs indipendently

Understood, see I am having a purchase of around 50k worth of apparels this monday, and by mistake ordered rupay not visa. (could've added to gpay if supported as samsung pay is not)
I am out of town on monday due to some work and will shop there itself and cant receive the card.

So, if I add the same milestones as you and pay using upi would I get all the benefits?
Like 5% apparel, 200rs etc etc?

Because all I can do is ask the delivery guy to hand it a trusted friend nearby who could send me the pics of the card and I could activate it and pay there without the physical card.
My other option is only axis ace and it will give only 1.5%.

So please try and let me know if I could do this
