Discovering the Benefits of the AU LIT Credit Card

TF Select
Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience with the AU LIT credit card, which has been nothing short of amazing. Last month, I managed to get a return of around 10% on my spending, and here’s how it all added up:

Cashback Highlights:

Total Cashback Received: ₹1,600.00

Reward Points Breakdown:

Points Earned: 2,300

Each reward point is worth ₹0.25, so the 2,300 points I earned last month are equivalent to ₹575.00.

Although I don’t have the SBI Cashback card, the AU LIT credit card has not disappointed me at all. It not only gave me substantial cashback but also helped me rack up a ton of reward points. These points can be redeemed for a variety of rewards, making every purchase feel even more worthwhile.

If you’re on the lookout for a credit card that offers great returns and rewards, I highly recommend giving the AU LIT credit card a try. It’s been a game-changer for me!

Great. Can you give a little insights on type of spends ? Thanks
1. Grocery Spends: Earned 5% cashback on grocery purchases, up to ₹1,000 cashback.

2. Milestone Spend of ₹7,500: Got an additional 5% cashback, up to ₹500.

3: Milestone Spend of ₹5,000: Received ₹100 cashback when reached a milestone spend of ₹5,000.

4: Online Spends: 10x reward points on all online purchases. While the reward points were previously capped at 25,000, starting next month, the cap will be reduced to 10,000.

So, Total calculation: 1000+500+100=1600
And 2300 Reward points.

Where you got 10X reward? Utility spend?

For utility payment they don't give 10x, they only give 1rp on 100, including goverment payments, as mentioned above my spends were grocery spend and shopping..but if there is loopholes of MCC then you can also get reward points on utility payment at the end of the day it is about MCC code same goes for SBI cashback and other cards.

AU LIT gave me 299 in my wallet. What pack makes the most sense for me? I already have sbi cashback card for online spends. Last time I bought 10x on offline. Just able to swipe for 3287 (offline) in 90 days

It depends on your use because they have options for grocery and apparel and then they also have option for online spends with a milestone spend of 7500. Or if you are into reward points then you can get 10x or 5x option.
It depends on your spend.

I do have a query here, have anyone tried enabling offline 10x multiplier feature?

I did however, the payments i made through QR since its an Rupay card isnt being considered in my offline 10x muliplier.

Any ideas? I already raised a query with the AU Customer care last day.

I hold Visa variant so don't know that they offer the benifits in UPI spends by Rupay variant. Is there any mention about it on your welcome kit?

No nothing as such. Since its UPI payment, i think they might be considering it as online payment which is my best guess.

The customer care people are also clueless and have given me wrong info on multiple things multiple times. Anyway ill update once i get a formal reply for my complaint.

Oh I just read it again.
You are asking about offline 10x transaction.
UPI transaction may be counted as online spends and pos transaction is most likely be counted as offline.
But if we get all the benifits in UPI spends as online spend then this will be considered as one of the best card because it has a feature of 5% cashback and many other amazing features.
It will be interesting to know if UPI spends will be counted or not.

Yes, if that's the case then i will put a 10x for online spends too and get my UPI spends on that. In any case ill let you know.

The rewards or the cashback will take 24 to 36 hours to be shown after transaction.

You can email them to get the confirmation and clarity on which feature the UPI transaction will be considered.

Yeah well its been more than a week and my POS transactions are showing up. So its likely that UPI/Scanner payments are considered online. They said they will get back to me within 48 hours yesterday.

So just for clarity , if i do some online shopping transactions of around 50k , in a month i will get 5 % cashback , that is 2500 or there is some cap on it , also is this allowed every month / billing cycle or once in 90 days as mentioned on their web site , not interested in reward points , but if monthly spends of 50000 are eligible for 5% cashback . It will be really good for me , thanks in advance

In AU Lit card, they have two types of cashback features.
1) Milestone based in which on spending above 7500 you will get 5% cashback which is capped at ₹500 for one cycle of 30days. The same type also has a 2% cashback feature.
2) Catagory based cashback which is capped at 1000. It depends on which category you want to pick from grocery and apparel or you can pick both. Each category give 5% cashback.
I am using the combination of grocery + 7500 milestone feature, which gives me 1500 on spend of 20000, so the combination gives me 7.5% cashback on it.

I don't spend on apparel, so I decided not to opt for it, but if you can spend 20,000 on apparel every month then you can also get 5% cashback upto 1000.
Which can get you 2500 on total spend of 40,000 (including all the 3 features)

Good thread!
Am applying for AU LIT, Can anyone advice which is better Visa or Rupay?
Any difference between them or any advantage with Visa variant or Rupay card?

They just started rupay variant, so don't have much idea about it.
If we get the same benifits with UPI spends also then I think rupay variant is better.
