Discussion related to Transfer Partners in Axis Traveledge

this will happen soon i am sure. Axis is bleeding and just due to social media uproar has brought back the partners Now they will just devalue conversion ratio for all partners in 1 go.
i dont think they can afford that! at 10K fee, anything less than that would see an exodus which will be worse for them

Yes that's what I am trying to say.

Axis has this loophole.
You saw Swiggy trick of IMPS refund.
On similar mechanism if M&S issues IMPS refund if refund is processed by physical store then it's entirely possible.
Website refund is always automatic and direct card refund.

Even if refund is direct to card without involving IMPS then too I am sure we can get ER.
Because Axis gets the report from M&S online portal if order is delivered or not.
If M&S site does not show refund as we availed it from offline store, then we are getting the points for sure.

This sounds too complicated but, I have dug deeper in this, as once it happened that I did not receive M&S points and had mailed them with invoice details, that was the time I understood how grabdeals works in real.
Is there any way to book a vacation package or complete a travel package using ER points?
i have 90K points I don't know what to do. I have no plans to travel right now, never used accor/ITC/CV in past

You are asking the question in the wrong thread. It would be better to ask the same question in a public forum where more people will be able to assist you.

90k won't cut it for a decent international tenure trip even if you are single. You'll have to spend some amounts in cash. Domestic it is good set of points for any sojourn.

You can do a international trip using 90k ER. But obviously for single. The trip which is on top of my mind is Singapore.

Currently Krisflyer is running Summer escapes. So, you can book Economy return flight for 35k ER points(which translates to 28k Krisflyer points).
So your ticket is done for 35k ER points + some taxes.

Now, you are left with 55k ER points. Transfer this to Accor and you will get 44k Accor points which is equivalent to 880Euro(~78k INR). With this amount you can easily stay for a week in some Ibis hotel, novotel hotel for 4-5 nights. And you can also have dinner in the same hotel where you are staying and redeem.

So, it's quite possible to go for a foreign trip(Singapore) with 90k ER points. You need to take care of lunch and local transportation(Singapore metro pass is some 20SGD out of which 10SGD is refundable) and other activities that you are planning.

Singapore is a business city and will be quite boring for a single traveller. Try Thailand or Vietnam or some european destination - Paris + Swiss . Vistara goes to Paris + Accor hotels available there.

Only food cost will be there. Further, travel pass you can buy for a week . Out of pocket 30k lagega but so what. There is only 1 life

Bombay to Paris return is 38k miles (47.5k ER) + 20k taxes in Turkish airlines. Rest 42.5k ER could be transferred to Accor and used for stay.

for hotels Accor is best?
Yes, 2000 points = 40 euros which is approx ₹1.8 per point.
Ibis budget/ibis usually is available for around 40-50 euros (around ₹4000) per night, so you will get a room for 2k/3k points per night.

Marriot also gives good value (greater than ₹1 per point) if you book internationally. But they are expensive compared to Ibis. So it really depends on your lifestyle.

Should we keep ER points in Axis? Or transfer to some partner? Since Axis might devalue the redemption rate?

It really depends on your travel plans in the near future. I transferred points to Accor because I am sure that I will use it within a year.

Transferring to airline miles is tough since the miles requirement could change. Turkish airlines seems to be the best option for Europe while Krisflyer seems to be the best for East Asian countries. United seems the best if you are not clear on your travel as it gives decent rates for Europe, US or East Asian countries.

Seeing the temporary unavailablity of accor and vistara transfer, devaluation may happen anytime. So it's better to transfer ASAP to get the best value.

Turkish is not working for Air India flights. It shows availability but at the last step it shows error. May be a temporary glitch.

Yeah this is also an option but in rest 42.5k ER you won't be able to stay for longer duration. If someone is going Europe you would atleast want to stay a week.

Agreed Singapore is a business city but still people go for vacation. They combine it with Malaysia. Sentosa Island is also good. You have Universal studios and other activities that one can do. One can easily spend 3-4 nights in Singapore before getting bored. Anyway I just gave an option for 90k ER points.
I am never went Singapore but heard it's good.

Personally I have travelled Switzerland and Paris, I can assure you, you can't roam around with 30k out of pocket. Swiss pass for 4 days will cost you around Rs. 26k. And around 50CHF for food everyday. And it's not that pass is enough, to reach Titlis and all you need extra tickets. I ended up paying 5CHF for 1 liter water at some places where tap water was not there. 1-2CHF to use washroom. It's not you will go there and stay in room only.
