Do I wait or apply for the SBI Cashback card?

I got my application rejected on SBI Sprint when applying for this card three months ago and I want to apply again. Thing is..I closed my Jupiter Edge credit card this month and the Cibil score isn't updating that card as closed and the Cibil Score isn't updating to the bills I paid for this month yet.

Should I wait for the Cibil Score to update or I can just apply for the card? My current Cibil Score is 780.
 
Wait 3 more months and don't apply for any credit or loan in the meantime.
Close unnecessary cards if rejected for over leveraged reason.
Mine got approved yesterday after 2 rejections.
 
A score of 780 is good enough for SBI CB, so it shouldn't be an issue. My first application was rejected in December 2022. I reapplied in March 2023, and it was approved. So, I believe a 3 month wait should be sufficient.
 
Your current CIBIL Score is more than enough to apply. Did you find out why it was rejected in the first place? Based on that, you can decide if you need to reapply now or later.

The main reason which they gave is that I was they were pointing out a card that I closed long ago that I had to pay fine but I closed it clearing all the dues lo g back.

After going to the branches even they said that the card is cleared and they don't know why my application got rejected.

Im now in the window where I can reapply for the card again but just thought of getting a second opinion first before doing it.

Hi, thank you for showing your interest in our range of SBI Credit Cards. We would like to inform that we are unable to issue a credit card to you, as the details furnished by you do not meet the policies set forth for issuance of an SBI Credit Card.

Then this

Hi, Please be informed that you can apply after 90 days from the date of the previous applied application. Please feel free to contact us again if you require any further assistance. We will be glad to assist you. Thank you!

Doesn't answer the question on what policies are preventing me from getting the card

Raised it to the grievance team
