does HP pay stop accpeting fastag recharge as payment option for fuel payment

Looks HP Pay have stopped accepting Fastag as one of the option for petrol payment. Today I dont see fastag option while doing payment at petrol pump

You can close the fastag and ask them to transfer the amount to you bank account.

I did last transaction with ICICI fastag on HP Pay on 16th April.
Didnt find any issue.

Even i can see Fastag option on the app today.

At the time of writing this, I can also see the FastTag option to pay on HP Pay app.

Uninstall and reinstall the app and you'll see the option again. This is a bug which keeps happening. Sometimes just logging out and logging back again also fixes it.

Guys...I am facing issues in icici fastag payment through HP Pay. The OTP for payment never come( have tried the option multiple times at multiple bunks)....i have tried to remove and add again , KYC is also done. What else is to be done, any idea??

Check in the online fastag portal of icici if the fuel payments are enabled on your fastag or not. They disabled it for everyone some time ago and you have to write an email to get it enabled. If it is disabled, write an email to headservicequality@icicibank.com

You can try registering other mobile number & the uninstall app & reregister with your number, I had same issue & I kept trying multiple times uninstall install and the suddenly one day it started working.

Try deleting all linked fastag from HP Pay & relink the one you want to use. I had done both of these before it started working.

I have purchased Amazon pay ICICI fastag. I was able to signup but the credentials wouldn't work on the ICICI fastag site. ICICI fastag support says that all the authorities are with the Amazon and they have disabled the login and I need to use Amazon app for the details.

Also, I'm unable to use fastag to purchase fuel. When I have Mailed to the above email, I received a reply as below. Can anyone confirm if both the support persons are correct regarding the portal login and fuel purchase?

Yes that's right. APay Fast tag doesn't have fuel transactions facility.

I am using Amazon pay ICICI fastag and facing no issues while making payments through HP Pay. You need to drop a mail to below email id and request them to activate your fuel transactions through fastag. Just mention your Fastag account number and customer id. I got this facility activated on Jan 30' 2025 (it took 2 working days from placing my request over email). See screenshot attached.
