I have tried and they said Amazon pay fastag is not available for fuel payments.

does HP pay stop accpeting fastag recharge as payment option for fuel payment
Write an email to them to check if it's properly enabled or not.

Happened with me as well, using IDFC First Bank FASTag on HP Pay.
I uninstalled the app (iOS), reinstalled, logged in, searched for a HP Pay QR code and it's working now.
I had to face this issue twice, in case of refueling four-wheeler, I was able to refuel via DT Plus POS machine by sharing OTP and in case of two-wheeler, had to resort with other mode of payment. I'll keep this in mind going forward and it's irritating for sure, HP Pay app developer(s) should look into this.

This screenshot does not show information about fuel transactions. Please check whether fuel transactions have been enabled or not. You can refer to <https://www.technofino.in/community/threads/hp-pay-app-wallet-load.2503/page-25#post-745717> which gives a screenshot of such page. If it is not enabled, then OTP will not come, and you will have to reach out to ICICI to enable the same.
Hope it’s same for gas cylinder booking by fastag money?

Hi. I recently got a Fastag of ICICI. Once activated I mapped it to my HP Pay app. And it showed balance also.
Then I changed my Min KYC to Full KYC in icici Fastag portal and then I enabled the fuel payments in icici fastag portal (which took time of 2-3 days since the RC approval took long). I did not recharge it. I wanted to try it first.
Once everything was ok, I tried to use this system to pay for fuel via HP Pay app, but it failed. The error was “invalid tag id”. When I checked I saw that once I select “ Map / Update“ Fastag section under icici Fastag I can see three entries. The first is my phone number, the second is my vehicle number and the third is blank (written in grey over there - “Enter Fastag Number”). This area is not editable and I cannot enter anything there. I cannot UNMAP the fastag or Update the fastag. Don’t know how to proceed. Some issue I can think of are - 1) I mapped the fastag before fuel enablement. For once, try with uninstalling the app and also clear any cache or app data is there, do complete uninstallation, reinstall the app and if the problem persists, let's wait what reply HP Pay team gives.
Whenever I face any weird issue, I simply uninstall and reinstall the app and it works.
Sir, I have tried un installing and re installing the app many times now. even tried shutting down the phone between the uninstall and re install. But it doesn't work. I have even did the Full KYC in HP Pay app. But somehow I am not able to auto update the Fastag ID into the HP pay system. I am not able to update or delete (unlink) the ICICI Fastag.
I tried fuel payment at IOCL with Fastag and went through easily. So it means that the Fastag is enabled for fuel payments. But paying from HP pay is quite easy as compared to paying at IOCL pumps. So I am interested in HP Pay ecosystem

BTW, ICICI Bank FASTag is also accepted at IOCL pumps? I've IDFC First Bank FASTag and I guess, that's only applicable at HPCL pumps.

Yes Fuel payment by fastag is available at IOCL pumps also. I checked with my ICICI fastag. I think even IDFC fastag should work there. I saw that the payment types just showed "fastag". I personally feel any fastag which has fuel payment enabled should work.

Any app you use for fueling up at IOCL pumps via FASTag balance? Like it's HP Pay for HPCL, similarly anything for IOCL?
I've to restrict myself to HPCL pumps only, if IOCL works as well for IDFC First Bank FASTag, then my options would widen.
No Sir. No app. I have tried just once today. Even the person there had to struggle for that. But it ultimately worked. I think it’s better that you try once with IDFC Fastag also
Can you elaborate the exact steps whether the vehicle number or any other details were inserted in the POS machine.
