i cannot thank you enough for sharing this info. im goin on trip with my family for first time. can you answer a few questions

after generating qr code do we still have wait in the long line or is there any seperate line for qr people?
along with qr code do i need to carry my credit card with which i have generated this qr code?
if i have wait for 4 hours. can i use multiple qr codes from different card. as each entry only gives us 2hrs of time?

i was able to add my indusind debit card and credit card
hdfc tata neu

hdfc platinum debit card rejected

Whether you have a QR code or not, you still need to wait in the queue. However, sometimes, if a few people ahead of you are trying different cards and you show them the QR code from behind, they might let you in sooner.

You can use multiple QR codes, but they might not allow you entry until 3 hours (or even 2 hours) before boarding.

If you airline has the check in counters they will allow. In Delhi for Ex. certain Airlines will open counters 3 hours before departure in that case it doesn't work. Regular carriers work well.

For a 12:45 boarding time, you might be allowed in at 9:30. It really depends on whether the lounge is crowded or not.

we are talking about lounge access. i know airlines only allow checin 2hours before flight. there is priority checkin which costs 600 per head

what i was confused is time limit for lounge, this is the first time i was hearing about it. it should be accessed any time as that is what lounge is for, no?

Boarding pass is required for lounge access and lounges are usually located after security check section.

Carry your cards as well. There is no gurantee that they will accept QR codes.
Also, your card not being accepted in dreamfolks site doesn't mean it won't be accepted at lounge. There are lots of such cards.
Yes you can extend your stay by giving multiple QR codes or multiple card swipes.

hey all, right now im at hyderabad domestic encalm lounge. my flight time @12:45pm. i was able to checkin @9am(indigo), i directly went to domestic lounge and credit card swipe has a big line. i just waved my qr code and they immediately called me and scanned both of our qr codes along with boarding pass but didnt ask for the debit or credit cards. there is no time limit such at before 2 hrs are 3hrs before boarding as per the receptionist. hope this helps someone in the future

It depends on the Lounge. For example, when I travel with my family or friends, no one cares to ask the name on the card. But when I generated the QR and shared it with my friends in Kolkata T1 and Mumbai T2, they rejected the entry, stating that a cardholder must be present. Also, when the Lounges are too busy, they check the names for sure.

1. If domestic lounge is crowded --> they try to minimize rush by checking/matching names on boarding pass (strict behavior}.
2. lf domestic lounge is empty ---> they try to fill the lounge by permitting passengers without checking names (non-strict behavior}.
