Earn 30%* points back when you redeem. ( AMEX " Pay with Points" ) ..

I mean some offer is better than no offer but won't be useful for most as people here don't redeem their MR points for any of the mentioned uses.

That too not valid for Amex Plat Travel card. Won't be a waste of MR points if we go by this offer ?
For those who hold cards eligible for gold collection and opt for Amazon vouchers definitely makes sense for certain category spends not covered through Apay

I guess this kind of bumps up MR point value to ₹0.325p
Still lower than Amazon voucher redemption at ₹0.33p
For every 100 points, if we redeem through amazon pay voucher, we will get 33 rupees.
If we spend points for our purchase, we will get 25 rupees. With this offer, 30 points will be credited for this txn, which when redeemed against amazon pay voucher, we will get 9.9 Rupees, so we will get 25+9.9 = 35 rupees.
So it is providing slightly higher value, right?

You are correct, provided you keep spending on the card to redeem for gold collection with annual fee paid considered, It's a number game with spends and time horizon.

My assumption was on the basis that the bonus reward points would be used for pay with points again, but you calculation is correct if we redeem the bonus on Apay vouchers.
