India, where so many "journalist" openly abuse pm, fares worse than countries where an indirect question can lead to losing a hand or life.

Logistics is where india loses big time. Not just because of quality and availability of road/rail, but unnecessary detours/turnings/checkings, management of traffic, strikes and so many other factors.

One thing that helps them lower population density. Nazi German were the best in highway design/ management. They were decades ahead of others just like in all other technological aspects. Over bridge, under bridge, tunnel, clover leaf interchange all are their technology. This was done so that army along with tanks could go to remotest place and aeroplane could do emergency landing on highway. This is later copied by Eisenhower.
In Indian road even offroaders accepts defeat.

It's not about political structure, but people's attitude.
People have no fear/respect for law & order. They lack ownership. I am not talking about ownership in legal sense but in duty sense.
Just look at their treatment of public property.

No one wants give up their power for betterment of country: nor law makers, bureaucrats, police and even judge.

Manufacturing growth doesn't happen fast. This is first time a central govt is serious about building required infra for Manufacturing. We need at least 15-20years.

Till now only few state govt were serious about it. TN, Mh, HR & Gj. 2 of the original leaders have tapered off.

Even Manufacturing for foreign market is asking for trouble. Look at most of them: Mexico, Brazil, africa. Only major exception is south Korea. Even though china /japan focused on exports, their internal investment/forced consumption was high. Also there were many other factors which can't be replicated in case of India.

Manufacturing should be focused on what India needs and then export the excess to outside.
