If your mom is using Flipkart then first get Flipkart pay later,
Because last year I had two pay later active then the first credit card I applied was ICICI Amazon card but it got rejected and later after few months I applied for Axis Flipkart because it was shown pre-approved in my Flipkart and it got approved then as my other pay later was from IDFC so after a month I applied for idfc cc and it was instantly approved.
So get a Pay later and you will get a offer in few months.
Or other option is to open a bank account and wait for pre approved offer for CC.
Kiwi or jupitor are good. Those are short term and upi specific cards. So for that those are Useful.
But if you are looking to build some strong cc portfolio then those are not preferred. You can apply for that but don't make that as your primary spending card other than upi transactions

If it's rejected u can apply for the same after 6 months
Try for hdfc swiggy card or if u have their savings acc wait for pre appr offer
In hdfc taking core card first would be a good practice
As u r a student, try to apply for co branded cards like flipkart axis googlepay ace cc, apay cc, kiwi cc they don't ask for inc proof and apply as self-employed.
Good luck!
