It won't die out, it just not visible for normal user (after they modifed their UI, a year ago) and have less importance while calculating score.
Note: For score, all bureaus same. They won't use much if enquiries are >3Y (available in each bureau FAQs), its just that they show whereas now CIBIL not showing, that's it.
If you want full report, you can raise a dispute and for some reason if they solve themselves they'll send you a full detailed report to your email id. It contains not only full enquiries but each enquiry purpose and amount too (that also currently not visible in CIBIL for normal cases). So, it exist but not visible.
