Hi Peeps,

Just grab a bad-ass flight ticket deal of 58K Biz Class of Air India ( including Travel Insurance) from Delhi to Amsterdam (Return) in April End (Total of 15 days)

I have zero planning at this stage, please help me for my trip planning !!!!
Solo traveler, 40M more enthusiastic for minimalistic travel

For Hotel Accommodation, I have accor 55K points which looks like enough to book hotels + I have close relatives in Italy, Germany, Austeria and Spain so mostly will visit them too.
Also, Amex Platinum Travel Card approx points 48K which I can convert into Marriot BB & use in accommodation.

little background on my travel history I have Japan PR with me & US B1/B2 Visa, already vistsed US twice.
1. Visa is first and most imp- What are the hack for Visa, Should I apply at my own or some travel agency is better, ( Located at Delhi, so applying self is not a problem for me) I will travel around other EU countries too, should I mentioned those while applying Visa or just Netherland is fine.

2. Travel, planning to use Ryan air or flex bus for cross-country travel.

3. Which Credit card should I use for my purchases? have HDFC Regalia Gold, Axis Magnus ( which I will close in march), Amex Platinum travel, Yes Bank Uni card for zero forex markup

4. Any tips/Hack for shopping or sightseeing not to miss

PS- I am planning to get multiple entry of EU, but being a first visa it might not be possible, but if I get, I want to plan for England to visit my aunt there.

Thanks in advance,

Super excited for this !!!

Visa: You can do yourself, you need to prepare your itinerary (almost correct one), along with hotel and flight booking details. Visa needs to be applied from country where you will be staying most or first entry point if stay is equal.
Travel Across Country: Best is too take train travel pass for n # of days. It is best option in Europe with no pre booking and you can buy this pass few days before itself. (No major planning required). Ryan Air will not allow check-in baggage etc, so check on that before hand.

England visa and Schengen visa are different. For England, you need another UK visa. You can travel between England and Amsterdam through train.

Book hotel now to get cheaper deal, with full cancellation.

Credit card you can choose based on category and benefits that is already shared in this forum already.

Its a good deal you Got Bro!! Netherland is your first point of entry and show that u r staying max days at Netherland so that your visa does not get cancelled/rejected. rest use ur AmEx travel card for milestone achievement.

Firstly make a fake itenary showing max days in Netherlands. You also need to show hotel bookings, so use booking.com and book hotels that can be cancelled a few days before or have refund on cancelled. You will need to show this booking with your visa.
You will also need to most probably show how you will travel between the Schengen countries if you are going to show other destination. Since ur entry and exit is from Amsterdam, you can also not show other country and show hotel booking for all 15 days and cancel later. The actual itenary done does not need to match with the itenary shown on the visa application.
But whatever itenary you show on visa application, you need to show hotel stay and travel proof. Travel proof may not be asked while applying for visa, but they do ask at immigration.

Woah. This is a great deal. How did you get this?

Recently did a 10-day trip to Europe. Amsterdam was the port of entry. Happy to share my itinerary. DM me!

That's a sweet deal. I had traveled to Europe pre-covid, sharing some pointers if these help.
1. Visa: Do it yourself, it's very easy. You have time in hand but better to do it early.
In general, they used to not offer multiple entry visa. If you plan to visit UK, then include it in application.
2. Finalise your actual travel plan, in terms of what you want to see. In 15 days you won't be able to hit all 4 countries where you have relatives. Travel within Europe is quite costly. Accordingly you can decide between modes of travel. Ryan is economical, if booked in advance but do keep the luggage cost in mind.
3. Wine, chocolates are good purchase options.
4. Since you are doing solo travel, you can check out hostels. Nice option to connect with other travelers.
All the best.
