If you buy yearly you will get additional point. If u take yearly you will get 75000points total .Where As in monthly u will get 5000points/month =60000points..

I purchased annual subscription for my son and within three months he is already silver without a single stay, only because of status points

Yes, there is no difference on benefit in monthly vs yearly plan of all signature membership card.

I had a quarterly membership which expired on14th Dec. I was waiting for the new year to buy yearly plan. Unable to 1) subscribe again or 2) change from quarterly to yearly plan. All it asks me is to update payment details (which i do) and nothing happens. Any advice how to counter this?

you will have to cancel it and renew it manually. Do for year as auto payments dont work on indian cards. You can write a email to them and ask for cancellation. I did the same as well.
