Got 2700 status points even though I paid with points in Melbourne!! Guess sometimes you can get lucky although I couldn't get any advantage of those points.

I also paid with points for the lowest price non refundable booking in Melbourne.
I got status nights but I did not get any status points

Accor points can be redeem at 2000points = 40Euro.. Where as 14000 Status points can get u platinum status or 60 nights stay can get u platinum in 1yr spend.

For every 10Euro Spent you will get

Gold gets early check in or late check out, good enough for me.
Explorer gets 50% discount on all meals for 2 adults in the same hotel. Bill to the room and pay with points

If u pay directly after dine then point value will be only 0.90rs per point value vs 1.8 if billed to room and settled at checkout

Do all hotels agree easily for billing to room?

It means we are indirectly getting approx 50% discount for food and spa? Thats great .

But if i book hotel by prepaid, it would not be possible

It is still possible. I do it all the time. You can bill most of things to your room including spa and saloons

In Melbourne I had paid for a room with breakfast, which was continental
If I wanted to upgrade to American breakfast, they were charging $6 extra but they refused to accept points for the breakfast upgrade
