Its a good start.

For me, in almost all the international destinations i travelled to - charging cables, and electronics, such as cameras, powerbanks, gopro, mobile etc are always kept inside my backpack. I only need to take out my laptop in a seperate tray for scanning while at security checks.

Even lighters are allowed in almost all my international travels, only at indian airports, they ask me to throw em out.
