Scapia is back! After a long pause in issuing new cards due to the RBI's ban and a sudden massive credit limit decrease, Scapia has returned with its co-branded credit card in partnership with Federal Bank.

One major drawback earlier was that existing Federal Bank credit card holders couldn’t apply for a Scapia card. However, that issue may have now been resolved, and even those with a Federal Bank credit card can apply, as few could have successfully applied & gotten Approval, though many faced rejection.

Why Consider Scapia?

Here are some key benefits:

Lifetime Free Credit Card: No joining or annual fees.
0% Forex Markup: Ideal for international transactions.
Unlimited Domestic Lounge Access: Spend just ₹10,000 in a month to qualify.
Generous Reward Structure:
  • 20% Scapia Coins on travel bookings via Scapia.
  • 10% Scapia Coins on all other spends.

Since 5 Scapia Coins = ₹1, this translates to:

💰 4% value back on travel bookings.
💰 2% value back on regular spends – a solid return for a Lifetime Free card.

Introducing the Virtual RuPay Card!

Scapia now offers a Virtual RuPay Credit Card with an exciting benefit:

While this may not benefit small transactions, it’s still a great addition for maximizing rewards.

Have they started issuing scapia credit card to existing federal credit card holders? Is there any cibil hit? Any idea if they are issuing scapia to existing federal credit card customers, what would be their criteria, like last time they were onboarding customers they were quite strict on number of cibil enquiries, etc.

Eligibility criteria like CIBIL score requirement?

I had a savings account and a federal bank credit card; both were closed 1 year back, I applied today and did vKYC and Card Approved.
Now
1) The approved card PDF I received by email mentioned a limit of five lacs, but why is the Scapia app showing only a 50K credit limit?
2) My current approved card is a VISA variant, how will I get a Rupay virtual card?

Applied and Approved within 3 hours of application ...I was deperately looking for zero forex mark up card for foreign trip and scapia is best among all.
