Fees for non-activated hdfc swiggy card

I recently got hdfc swiggy card but I have not activated yet and when I called CC the lady today me if I don’t activate and if the card gets deactivated after 37 days then I will have to pay the joining fees … is it the case ? If I have not activated then why should I pay the charges… i think this is not fair… Experts please throw some light on this and suggest what should be done

Ltf is your best bet.

Compensation would be hard in this case

Thats the trick they play to force people into activating card. I have been on the boat too. Got 4-5 calls everyday and every call had different tricks being played.

Just say when you applied it showed ltf for you in the app

Well it never showed LTF so it won’t work bcoz obviously it will show as a paid card in their system and actually it is a paid card only and more over to prove this they will ask me to show some proof

I applied through cashkaro .
Will get 2000 cashback.

They also know card sourcing platform but I will activate when card will be ltf

So I got a LTF Swiggy HDFC card and it's still visible as LTF card in the Swiggy app. But HDFC charged fee in 4th month statement. When I complained they emailed that its chargeable. Planning to report to RBI? Any other suggestions.
