Make sure it's LTF. This happened to me too and it was a paid card and not even FYF.

I have email confirmation that its LTF.

1. I was checking out bigbasket. We get 5% neucoins for using neu app and cards like amex are providing 10-12% cashback. How does using neu infinity make sense?

2. I cannot find adani gas on tata neu for payment.

Here is my journey

1. Sent email to Grievance redressal, they rejected request to reconsider rejected TNI application.
2. Escalated to PNO... Grievance redressal responded back saying they are willing to reconsider if I apply via floater card. Asked me to send soft copy of signed floater card application.
3. They went missing for 3 weeks, then asked me to post physical copy to their Chennai cards office.
4. They did another CIBIL enquiry and they rejected my floater card.
5. Again escalated to Grievance redressal, they rejected to reconsider.
6. Escalated to PNO, they did reconsider and no response for 2 weeks.
7. Got surprised by OTP SMS to get PIN for unknown card (turned out TNI)

This entire process took very long time...

What did u fill in Application no. column in floater application form? I want to apply for floater card directly and I don't have any application number.

5% is for neu app + 5% additional for tata neu card so 10%

Also amex does not have an offer every month... But the 10% is permanent!

Now turn for my story... I applied for TNI Rupay as LTF during the October sales. At that time there was no criteria mentioned for the existing customers in their website. I think that came in November. After initial verification it showed TNI Rupay as LTF and got rejected. I mailed grievance redressal after prolonged battle over mails they asked me to fill floater form. They sent come credit card agent to my office and he told they have taken some approvals and filled in the physical forms again with the floater form. They placed another credit card request because I got a different application number on SMS from the earlier one and initially it said approved in principle. Then I don't know what happened 1 week went by and there was no update. So mailed grievance redressal asking for status they have again rejected my application. I have escalated to pno and chairman desk let's see what happens. If hdfc doesn't approve it I Will lodge a BANKING OMBUDSMAN complaint against this discrimination

TNI is only useful if u get it LTF otherwise there are better cards out there with good cashback available

I was thinking of the same, RBI Bamboo since they failed to clearly state rejection reason. And why they would reconsider, do another CIBIL and still reject with unknown reason.

So, I decided to go ahead and make another complain to RBIO. After complaining to RBIO Axis PNO replied within a week stating I already have 3 Axis CCs and hence the application was rejected as Axis does not...

Upgrade to Regalia Gold LTF. Also check for alternate cards like BOB Snapdeal. It is my go to card for unlimited UPI spends.

Regalia gold is not better than millennia in terms of reward rate. Also my TNI Rupay credit card just got approved. Finally escalating to chairman desk helped

Thanks... rupay is useful only for scan and pay otherwise the benefits are the same. U can try sending a mail to hdfc to convert to rupay
