Irctc only charging 118 rs conv. Fee for both domestic and international flights, but bank discounts are little uncommon

I booked 1 international flight at 118 rs conv fee and 12% discount last month, good experience !
That's good news. For Chennai to Bangalore flight ticket itself is 3K, so felt 400 INR convenience fee is too high. 118 is okay even if there are no card offers. Thanks, I never knew I can book flight tickets in IRCTC.
But i think easemytrip and other websites offer no convenience fee (in form of coupon) after applying that no bank offer would be applicable and on top of that you can pay using apay gv (on irctc, emt, mmt etc. ) (you can get additional discount using apay ifkyk)
Also bank discounts are common na you easily get 10%, so if 4k flight then 400 off which easily covers conv fee
