Flight ticket cancellation within 24 hrs

I cancelled a ticket flight within 24 hrs on cleartrip, it was more that 7 days before the departure date.
Cleartrip only refunded me the airline cancellation charge, the cleartrip cancellation charges were not refunded.

Another experience from last year with Makemytrip but they refunded the makemytrip cancellation charges also.

Does anyone have any idea if the travel platform cancellation charges come under the DGCA 24hr rule ?
Or how do we confirm this, I am unable to open the DGCA grievance portal.

it depends on the ticket
if it is partially refundable you wont get the whole amount as refund

Contact Cleartrip customer care and mention them this thing (its mentioned on DGCA guidelines)
I once booked vistara ticket and got full refund on cancellation within 24 hrs

It depends on aggregator.
Please check the fine print on ticket.
Or just request cleartrip to refund,they might as goodwill gesture even if there is no refund policy.

Did you get the refund? I got it canceled from Indigo and they are refunding full money, but cleartrip from flipkart is not refunding convince fee and 700 per adult per sector cancellation fee.

The issue might be because you went through the automated cancellation. In my case whenever I've made a mistake in such a case, I tend to contact the actual airline, no matter how I've booked. Then if it's through an aggregators, I use the 'airline has issued a refund' option or contact their cc.

You should have called your airlines and requested for cancellation. You will get 100% refund apart from aggregator charges
