Devaluation Floater card Query

Hi,I have Irctc Hdfc credit card which is almost a year old.
Recently I have taken their swiggy credit card as a floater card.
As you know both cards are not eligible for instant discounts during sale.Now I have few questions.

1. Can I close my primary card (Irctc) and continue to use swiggy card?
2.Can I request to upgrade my primary card (Irctc) to milenia or money-back+ and continue to use swiggy card?
3. Can I apply for a 3rd card(one of money-back plus or milenia)?
4.Can I apply their rupay virtual card as my 3rd card?

Please give your valuable suggestion.
I only want it for discount.
As my irctc card is in rupay variant,they are not giving the rupay virtual card too.

(My primary card is almost one year old and I have spent nearly 2 lakhs with it)

If ur current card has more than 1L limit, then send mail to grievance for upgrading to Millennia, they have started giving this way.

My mother was holding neu plus with CL 1.1L , they gave millennia in one request only . Many other users have also reported the same.
So better give it a try first.
