Since 5 months only Rs.10 bill payment from IDFC. Now two more months and that will be useless. Have 1502 pts left only, and add 500 for this and next month and then will redeem and take 500 ASV. After that Select Account closure once FD matures.

what are the ways to earn easy points till dec?

So, the day has finally arrived.

IDFC FIRST Bank has officially informed customers that effective from 1st January 2026, there will be no more reward points on any debit card spends - whether online, offline, or on any platform.

This update applies across all variants - Wealth, Private, and others.



The email sent by the bank starts with a long explanation, claiming that the move is aimed at "maintaining their offerings."
But let’s be honest - we all saw this coming.

Right from the start, I had mentioned that such a high-reward debit card program was too good to last...

How can it be the same one? This thread I created for DC charges not for rewards. There are many people like me who prefers IDFC for Zero Fee Banking but we are loosing the benefits gradually now. DC charges are too much now even they don't have any benefit limit like if I maintain 1L, I can get free DC. Seriously, IDFC became an worthless bank now. No branch, no ATM nothing. Only hawa bazi

We currently offer 250 reward points once per month, per bill payment. Going forward on successful payment, customers can earn 500 points per unique biller, once per month, for up to 3 months.

Can anyone explain about this? how to earn these reward points by bill payments?

I've around 3L rewards points (worth Rs. 75k) and looking for vouchers which can be used at a single place by combining several of them as Rs. 10k worth voucher can be purchased in a single transaction and chances are max. denomination would be of 5k ... so, if I purchase something worth Rs. 75k ... we're talking about combining 15 vouchers in a single order.

Flipkart voucher is also available, right? Can we combine multiple vouchers for placing a single order? If yes, how many vouchers at one go?

I'm thinking to redeem vouchers before this whole rewards portal gets obsolete and I'm out of options.

I usually redeem for Amazon Shopping vouchers... they are available in 5k/10k denos.
And anyways you can redeem only 40k points = 10k inr in one day.
ASV can be used to purchase a few GV from Amzn.. very limited but useful

If any travel coming up then flights/hotels might not have a capping - never tried myself

Yes u can use ASV to buy any product on amazon and u can combine it with any payment method, I personally used it to buy mobile phones for my nearby shop and at that time whole 10k ASV and instant bank discount both where working,

and any voucher can be purchased with asv this I dont know and imo it is not possible

Imo amazon and flipkart these two option is best for redeeming, and
for flipkart yes u can combine multiple voucher for placing a single order( basically u will be getting multiple 500 denomination gift card id and pin and u will have to manually add it to flipkart account one by ine so add accordingly)

and how many voucher at one go - I myself have added 15k max at one go and u can still add more
