GET 2 (1 LTF and 1 FYF)UNION BANK RUPAY SELECT DEBIT CARD/ BYPASS UNION UDAAN ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

I was discussing about issuance fees of dc with @La pasión but shocking i found one rule of UBI udaan account.
After account got opened, initial deposit has to be made within 7 days, otherwise account will be auto closed.

Seems like I'm in trouble here. I got acc no on 24 March. Account not activated yet and branch also didn't take any initial deposit.

Today gave 14k cash to frd,he went to another branch and wrote deposit slip and submitted.
No sms. But checked mini statement, i can see 14k credit.
Hoping for account activation now

Nope no change. I suspect, this is gonna stay this way due to some misconfiguration at Union Bank and the only way to get this fix is via RBI.
How much time it takes for physical DC to come today went applied specifically bola rupay select chila chila kar they had no idea rupay select bhi hoya hea.
After dc applied i told them that pls turn my vyom app through branch token bola dc applied hogaya hea abhi branch token se bahi hoga DC aiga use kar lena

So branch guys was right, got my account activated today itself within 6 hour. Don't know how but yes cash deposit helps maybe...
Oh it does. Just to reiterate my previous comment, the backend team prioritizes accounts with cash deposits for activation because otherwise customers won't be able to use their deposits.

Mine not activated yet, not knowing they submitted or not. What to do

If your account mobile no is same as aadhaar, try setting up UPI PIN and doing an INR 1 debit transaction. See if it works (to rule out missed SMS). Also, have you followed up with the branch for activation? After the deposit it should be activated within 3 days at max.

I signed on the printed application form on Saturday, deposited 14k today. 3 working days already completed. Branch is 8kms away.

P.s i activated upi pin successfully but not allowing credit or debit

okay

is it necessarily be atleast 10k?

Yes. Today morning the branch head called me and said come to bank because he already knows im living 600 meters away from branch so casually me and my friend visited branch and he opened our account and after that said deposit the cash i also asked the same thing "sir first active it then we will transfer the amount via upi then he said the same "If you do not want to deposit the amount now, the activation process will take some time and also they have to mail account opening form to Mumbai Head office. then we deposited cash of 10k each then he assured me the process will be done within 1 days but it was done within 6 hrs. He also provided his personal visiting card so that i can contact him directly. So yes it's possible to get account without IP but this process might have delay the account activation.

Then your branch guys are b***rds. My branch contact soecifically told me that within a day or two they hear back form backend team in case of any issues in which case they send the ammeded doc scans (say they reject your PAN photocopy due to bad quality) or you have the option to close the account . (I was worried about 10k deposit without activation)

Note: Even though the account is opened via computer, it is only activated after backend team double checks the details with scanned uploads.

Yeah really. I specifically asked can i deposit 10k. She told not needed. Deposit after account activation. Lazy fellows

They didn't even attched my pan card no. Form 60 was there and told after account activation, we will link PAN.
And completely spoiled rupay select debit

I mean that after opening an account via computer the branch has to upload scanned copy of forms along with your documents into their system. Backend team activates the account after due validation and verification. In case they have a concern, say an issue with form or signature or anything they send a notification to branch along with the ammendments required. Your branch is supposed to call you back if extra information is required (say your degree for SBPRO) or fix their own mistakes if any.

You branch hasn't called you.

I have got on very good terms with my branch guy after finding out we have a common friend. He explained me the entire process in detail.

I will call her tomorrow. Lets see if she lifts.
I think something is wrong with my application

Yes something is definitely wrong,

The following docs are must for SBPRO

1. Computer Printout of form (should be prefilled already) with all the signatures and photo
2. Aadhaar and PAN photocopy
3. Degree/License proving profession (I was told that if the mentioned income is profession-appropriate the backend team doesn't need this, although there is always a small chance of the request getting flagged.)

Your branch must have received the flagged request and I have no Idea why they haven't reached out to you.
