Getting Rid of the ICICI Amazon Pay Credit card - Experiences after closure

By now it is clear to us that if someone is holding a Amazon Pay co-branded ICICI credit card, then any chance of getting a pre-approved credit card offer OR CC Upgrade offer is very slim. However, if someone has got a regular ICICI credit card, can get the Amazon Pay card in future, if (elegibility criterias are met).
This thread is to being out the experience of such individuals who held Amazon Pay ICICI credit card in the past and have closed later. Do they have got regular credit card offers (pre-approved) after closure of the Apay card, considering you already hold a savings account with ICICI .

Yes.. Try... If not platinum.. Then u will atleast get makemytrip platinum with just 499+gst joining fees then ltf.. That 499 also u will get back in mmmt wallet,

Mine was showing as the Visa Coral Card. I called the customer care and they told that I was issued a Platinum LTF card only, double checked with ending digits. Maybe new glich, like Expressions ~ Intermiles.
Will confirm as card gets reflected in iMobile.
Edit - Card showing as Platinum LTF in iMobile but Coral Visa in net banking. Just ICICI things.

I started same trick. I got Jet airways coral visa credit card. Need to call customer care for upgrade.

Just checked my CIBIL report for the first time (earlier only checked score), and found that ICICI made TWO CIBIL hits for a single credit card application for a Platinum LTF CC. One for a credit card, and another for a personal loan. Then they rejected my application. I remember my cibil was dropped by 3-4 points.

Will go and open wealth account ICICI tomorrow holding Amazon pay ICICI card with 5L limit. So for good ltf card offers should I close the existing APAY credit card? Please advise

Hey bro want to apply tor wealth account with ICICI, holding Amazon pay icici credit card with 5L limit should I close this before hand to get pre approved offers of Sapphiro and other premium cards ltf ?

I directly apply for platinum credit card from website but not able to proceed any further due to an error
I already have apay card 1 year old
I don't have any saving account with ICICI
Then I received call from ICICI asking which card you want to apply i said platinum then they link via sms i shared all my documents then vkyc was done next day card approved
I faced some issues during apay card due to covid but platinum was instant

Try above way
I don't close my apay card it was my first card it got approved 30k after then i request limit enhancement on bases of salery slip got 2.6l then pre approved with 5.3L
At present it provide reward rate on payment on those category where other card don't provide usually
And second it is free
I also find it also useful during Amazon sale as 5% instant discount and then 5% unlimited reward rate

For Flipkart discount i already got platinum directly with vkyc

I did get pre-approved sapphiro within one week of closing my apay icici card. I have hdfc dcb so get 5% discount on amazon anyways.
