Got Axis Airtel Finally with Vi Number

Was looking to get Airtel Axis offer on my Airtel SIM for a while. After months of refreshing, opening a Payments Bank account and checking CIBIL in hope for the offer I gave up until I saw people applying it via non-Airtel numbers. I already had a normal Axis bank salary account with a lot of preapproved offers except Airtel Axis and Ace.

I took a Vi number, installed the Airtel Thanks app and clicked the Credit Card section and voila, it let me continue the application and add my details. After having 2 Airtel broadbands, 2 DTH and Airtel prepaid on my Airtel sim phone, it still did no give me the offer but a random number sim worked.

I applied and completed the application with conditional approval and got the Video KYC link. Completed it the next day. On tracking it, the Axis app was all wrong though the Airtel app showed that it was sent.

Received it in 4 days with a limit of 5,00,000. Overall I am happy, but should have received a better experience than this. I wonder how they choose whom to offer it.

In conclusion, uses another SIM for an instant offer instead of pointless struggling.

How long do you guys / girls think one should wait after being denied a credit card with Axis?

Background: I applied for Neo by mistake. I contacted and asked Axis to cancel my request. Instead of cancellation, Axis simply rejected my application. I am fine with that. However, I'd like to apply for Airtel Axis CC as I have an offer through another number. Should I wait for 3 months in this scenario too?

You can apply right away since this is a different card, and your last application wasn't approved.

I applied today using alternate number and vkyc is also successful. Did you get any SMS or email after completing vkyc? If yes, after how long you got the messages? or they just delivered credit card directly without any further intimation?

After 1 to 2 days Most probably u will get an email from axis containing your application no. and saying that thanks for apply.

You will also get confirmation msg before card delivery.

Btw, I am still getting messages to complete VKYC (4 msgs so far) but I have already completed VKYC. If I click the vkyc link shared earlier, it shows VKYC is successful and asks me to wait. Axis is at its best axis. anyone else faced same issue?

If you have completed your vkyc then ignore msg.

Be prepared to wait 17 to 18 days to get confirmation

Applied and did vKYC. After that received a call from verification department. The call was ended automatically after 3 minutes. The opposite end had difficultly understanding my accent. Had to repeat most things twice or thrice. Anyway, the other end got most of the info. Awaiting further steps (or approval/rejection email/SMS).

I did it yesterday but didn't receive any calls afterwards, so asking

It is showing error for me in airtel application when i try to enter my intial it is asking add atleast two letters but my initial is D in full name can i add it last like my Name D krishna can i make it krishna d?? Can i get different limit if i apply with another number i have two axis cards with different limits

Then got an email, where they mentioned they will notify me on the application status in 72 hours. As always, crazy axis 😛 And i am not able to see application status using the application number - this is also usual i guess. let's see

Yeah, just chill out for a day or two, the updates are never on time.
