Here is a trick to get movie tickets each month without spending a ruppee.
There is a requirement to have at least two SBI Cards before proceeding with this process.
As you might be aware, that SBI Elite card gives non bogo movie tickets each month upto Rs. 250 x2
So, we'll be using this card and ultimately making tickets free.
This card has a welcome benefit of Rs. 5k vouchers of Yatra, Pantaloons, or shoppers stop, which anyone can use easily in one year.
So joining fee of 5k is compensated here. Only 900 Rs of GST needs to be paid.
How to avail this as a regular benefit.
As you know, in SBI we can upgrade our cards to any core card we want, there is only a base limit requirement, I guess.
So, if a person has SBI Simplyclick and SBI Prime.
The ideal process is to upgrade SBI Prime to Elite.
Utilise 5k voucher and now this card is almost free.
Now next year, downgrade this card to SBI Prime, which again has 3k joining benefit.
Upgrade Simplyclick to SBI Elite. So again you are getting 5k voucher.
Repeat this process every year, hardly takes 10-15 mins and you get to enjoy 2 movies every month free.
In short, we are just juggling between two cards, Simplyclick and SBI Elite.
Which removes the hassle of closing and re applying and going through long process
Bonus Hack: The SBI Elite card has this feature where you get free movie in addon card also, so you get 4 movies per month of 250 each.
Which is 1000 per month and 12k per year benefit, What else do you need more? by paying only Rs.900
I don't know about max no of addon cards in SBI, if someone knows please comment.
Those who don't have SBI Cards, can use the Indusind eazydiner card, which is issued as LTF basis your good luck and if you are holding legend card already. ED indusind card also gives free tickets to addon cards
Indusind allows max 5 addons.
