So i just opened from website. Also Completed KYC. But I am still getting SMS and Email to complete KYC. Agent told me I will get confirmation SMS and I didn't get any confirmation SMS. Is there any way I can check status?

No confirmation will be received
Activate netbanking and mobilebanking. You will be able to use UPI from hdfc app and link in other upi apps and set pin via aadhar
For kyc confirmation, call cc after a few hours for confirmation

it's asking me for password on mobile. do i have to sign on netbanking first?
Also, stupid hdfc forced me to use phone number linked with aadhar. I use other number for banks or credits. So i don't want to sign in to any upi until i change my phone number.

You can change number online.
Almost every bank ask to use aadhar linked number only when opening account online. It is not just hdfc
Yes set netbanking password first, use forget password option to set password. You must have received CID on mail

Ohh, can i change it now? or do i need to wait for a while first?
Also i used non aadhar number for kotak 811 account and axis card. But yeah i noticed most bank asks for it

Credit cards are different. Only kotak and sbi are the ones that allow any number. Earlier HDFC allowed too, but now they have changed the requirement.

I have opened the account yesterday and did KYC. Showing the same for me.
After opening the account, within how many days did you receive the debit card?
And is it true that you can make debit transactions via UPI and net banking only after receiving the welcome kit?

Then you can use upi from hdfc mb...
Also you can set upi pin for other apps via aadhar
