HDFC BANK FD RECEIPT (PHYSICAL)

I opened HDFC Bank fixed deposit from my branch.
And asked from them for fixed deposit receipt they provided me a single page fd receipt like Xerox of fd receipt.

This fd receipt which looks like single paper. Which I could be downloaded from HDFC app and get printout from cyber cafe.
But I want to know is this really original fd receipt or they just provided me copy.

I remember when I opened fd in icici bank they provided me thick and original paper fd receipt but in HDFc they given me paper like fd receipt.
Does anyone know how original fd receipt look like?

Bro I showed them they are saying bring original or bank stamp on current fd copy..

Yes, that what I am exactly saying,
Hdfc given me fd advise while icici given me fd receipt.
Now I have to go hdfc branch and ask them for fd receipt.

It's ok for me not able to differentiate between fd advice and fd receipt.

But when I asked them fd receipt, atleast hdfc employees should have some knowledge about difference between fd advice and fd receipt. 🤦

For online or offline fd? I opened two fixed Deposits in February, March from mobile banking but they didn't gave me anything.
Just showing in app and net banking

That description by Bajaj Finserv says that FD advices are vulnerable to fraud. If so, any kind of bank accounts must be equally vulnerable!

To me, FD receipts are much more worrisome, as losing them could be a serious problem. That may be the reason banks typically don't issue them by default anymore (apart from the associated costs involved). Even POs have moved from issuing NSCs to just passbooks.

That's why I'm surprised that some members received FD receipts by courier. I suspect one must specifically ask for those. I never do, and never get such receipts from the same banks!

Alternativly u can also lodge a compliant online through HDFC site under grievance cell

I do multiple fds and close them in emergency/requirements

If bank started sending me these papers

It will be hectic to store them🤣
