Then give your alternative email id..
I think that is the reason why they want us to update the preferred email id for us..
They dont want to inundate us with UPI txn email alerts in our main email account
They know that UPI transactions are more in number..

They want us to give a seperate email id so that all the UPI transactions go to that desired email address rather than the main email address that we useas of now...
Good move I beleive ..

It seems there won’t be any secondary email update with regard to UPI txns update.. still only the primary email update only.. in which case I don’t know why this specific communication about update email..
The only change I can see is, sms alrerts have some thresholds now.. that’s it…
