HDFC Billpay Error for Axis CC payment

Hi

I added axis cc to hdfc billpay yesterday evening...even now when I am tryin to make a payment using hdfc dc it gives me the following error:

Payment Failed
Note, you can initiate transactions upto Rs. 10,000/- after a 2 hour cooling period.

Can anyone help me understand what am I doing wrong? It has been more than 15 hours...trying to do a 50k payment

You’ll get an email with the reason for transaction failure. Check your email

I think it’s because of max limit on single DC transaction. Usual it’s 25k per transaction.

Yes the email says the same thing as it did on the website....error is

been declined on BillPay due to Note, you can initiate transactions upto Rs. 10,000/- after a 2 hour cooling period..

Please try a different payment method.

Just made a payment of 9.9k that worked... One payment of 10k failed but money got deducted.... Should I be scared or will it come back on its own in a week?

Usually it takes 2 to 3 days for the biller (credit card) to be added successfully. And today being sunday, you will probably need to wait till Wednesday.
Don’t worry it will come back.

You can pay for new added card after 24 hrs, even if shows the biller as pending. So once new card added wait for 24 hrs.

It got resolved now...paid the amount fully....seems that there was a 24 hour cool off period after adding new cc for payment above 10k which the site was not showing
