hdfc cooldown period to re-apply the same card

So i closed my swiggy card in hope to get a ltf conversion in september and now it is LTF for limited time but i am not able to apply directly and shows "It seems that you have recently applied for a credit card. Hence we will not be able to proceed with your current application." however i don't see any application.

what is the cooldown period and is there any chance of getting it after closing the same variant?

Cool down period is 3 months.
But if u want your old card to be activated again. Try mailing to priority redressal, they might activate closed card.

Or apply any core card for now and wait for ltf offer in swiggy app. When its available, apply on shared limit

Some banks do, I tried hdfc in lockdown, they agreed.
Last year icici reopened my closed card

It has been around 8 months since I closed my Tata Neu. Would it still be possible to re-open it?

Reopening 8 months card old closed card is quite hard. Give it a try, nothing to loose. Send a mail to priority redressal.

But i suggest get removed ur old card from tataneu and apply fresh tataneu card.

there is no reason to reopen closed card as that was paid. i asked them to make it ltf or close, they closed it. i will try after cooldown period if ltf offer remains available.

Because online application not allowing to apply immediately.
You may try offline or through swiggy app if swiggy card needed

Apply with different number but make sure that you simultaneously update your existing card number to the new number online. It takes 2 days to update. I did the same and got my card approved.

First update ur number in hdfc account then try that way.

As recommended by Mohit, first update the number. Secondly, have you competed the 3 months cooling period? My suggestion would be, first take any core card and then you can take additional co-branded floater cards.

i already have 2 hdfc, one core, one co-branded. changing number is a headache. i will wait for cooldown. there is no need to complicate things.
