HDFC Credit Card Activation Time

Today my HDFC card got delivered but whenever I am trying to activate my card it’s saying card will be activated in 24-48 hours. This is very strange. Never seen with any bank.

Did anyone face similar issues?

How? I can’t see this card on active card section

For a moment, did you stop worrying this message and activate transaction settings either in mycards or netbanking or phone banking and did the sample transaction?

Do some transactions and wait for 1-2 working days. It'll get activated. It's a common thing with HDFC.

Yes I just tried and it worked. Hope the card will be visible in netbanking in 1-2 days since I need to request add on cards

All credit cards are not automatically added/visible in netbanking. Sometimes you need to add them manually via the Register Card option in netbanking.

I couldn’t find that option in new netbanking portal. Could you or anyone please guide if using new portal.
