HDFC Credit Card LTF Issued Now denied

My Mother is a pensioner she got a email banner in bay stating "HDFC KA Ching XL Card is available LTF" if she meet one of the following criteria
1) Spend 1lkah in 90 days
2)Take add on card
3) Do balance transfer

My mother took add on card for me and even i took email confirmation from RM stating if it is LTF he aslo said YES

Now she has been charged fees 🙁 which i feel unfair
Not getting what to do being imperia customer am facing so much issues

Email hdfc and ask them to make your card LTF as you have fulfilled criteria.
if they reject your request, file complaint with RBI Banking ombudsman portal.

It's not resolving the issue fully though, they gave you 1k renewal card as LTF instead of 2.5k one.

But the 6E cards suck anyway so I guess you could call it an upgrade

Yep even we had a issue with rewards

when i wrote to the bank for my ltf confirmation, i specifically asked if the card is ltf unconditionally, or is it free based on spends. i tried to be as specific as possible. just dont activate the card, or if you have already activated, close it ASAP if you are fed up. banks can't charge you if you close the card at the start of the year.

Before applying i got email confirmation from HDFC staff through her official email id that it is LTF card. Even in the hdfc mobile app, it very clearly said, LTF and No Conditions apply. Yesterday i received the card and again sent mail to customer care to confirm whether this is LTF or not. As expected they replied saying, need to spend 1L in 90 day to make it LTF 😀.

Anyways, wrote back very harshly with earlier email confirmation and also application screenshot. Lets see.

good that you have screenshot of the offer. don't activate the card till they confirm 'unconditional' ltf status over email.
