HDFC credit card pre-approved offer

CARDBITRAGE

TF Legend
I received a pre-approved credit card offer for a moneyback+ credit card. I have a MAB of close to 8L in my savings account and a few deposits with HDFC as well. Do I accept the offer and organically upgrade my card or wait for a better card? I would appreciate your valuable insights.

Do you see the value? I'm happy with my Exclusive account. Their top-tier cards are pretty much useless. I would not bother taking it if it was not LTF. Even if it was, most of their cards would just be eye candy. Personally, I felt that the service through my branch is top-notch. Their customer care and the backend is quite lackluster. Their IT infra needs a BIG overhaul. At least half the time, it's unreliable. After everything I just said if you can somehow derive value for the NRV you will contribute, go ahead.
I don't know much about this bank personally. All my knowledge is thru this forum only hence requested the members opinion. I too felt their top end cards didnt have any USP in them, but I thought let's go for a kill and get everything LTF only as much as possible. I can do initial funding
Your feedback about exclusive is good.
I am not that interested in Axis though .It's only a minute walk for me

My experience - I have salary account (primary) with them for 12 years, never got any pre approved offers. Opened an account for my wife based on my salary account. Her balance MAB was i think 2k, as it was not her primary account. She got Millenia pre approved with 1L limit (her first card). Finally i applied manually and got DCP with 4L limit

Before opening an account in IndusInd, visit the branch first and see if they are somewhat competent. Otherwise, it is a pain to deal with the Customer care directly if any problem should arise.

Customer care is useless; you won't get any help from them. In fact, they will make things worse. If you have a good relationship with your branch, they will go to any length to fix your issues or help you obtain your preferred card. 🤣

@CARDBITRAGE summed it up quite nicely. 👍

Thanks a lot guys for your inputs, I will visit them first and see how it goes.
