HDFC DCB - Rewards points reversed

Recently I noticed that 900 rewards points were deducted in my HDFC DCB statement. I wrote a mail to HDFC and got this reply back.

I thought only SBI did this. Are other banks like ICICI, Axis etc also following same practice?

Also, I don't know why I got reply from Infinia Services. I sent mail to regular people customer care. 🙂

As of now only SBI & HDFC are deducting points against instant cashback

Won't happen with Millennia CC.

Because as per TnC they can't deny extra on on those 10 merchants as it is card feature.

Instead every year HDFC send me mails during festive season to Millennia users telling holders of 15% benefit 10% + 5% with Millennia CC.

Also, I don't know why I got reply from Infinia Services. I sent mail to regular people customer care. 🙂

Even I sent an email to customer service and got a reply from Infinia service team today morning. Even I hold diners black plastic card.

damn.. so the txn date was 03-May-2025.
And when were rewards reversed? Any particular date or which month statement?
