HDFC - Debit Card Upgrade Rejecting

Need Suggestions

Holding HDFC 0 Balance Account ( Product - 191 )
Got LTF RUPAY PLATINUM DEBIT CARD

I have been trying to upgrade it to millennia but am unable to.

I Went to the branch today and asked them to upgrade it through physical Form.
they informed me that Product 191 Account Is not eligible for any debitcard upgrade!

Batao Bhaio Certain Account me Debit Card Upgrade nahi mil skta kya ?

BM Suggested that You can open New Regular Saving Account (5K MAB) And Get Millennia DB

So Suggest What Can Be Done ?

Yes, they many times have such restrictions.
Go with the BM's suggestion.

For the base account definitely you cannot get a debit card upgrade. But you can request RM for the account upgradation if possible and upgrade debit card, I guess(but not sure) that can be done.

Earlier in Axis bank I had an account which was 0 MAB account later I upgraded account and debit card.

They were ready to upgrade on the spot but I denied as I won't be able to reopen 0MAB Acc.

Instead of upgrade open new 5K MAB Account.

Then you have to open a new account. For 0MAB they won't give Millenia DC I guess.
