Hmm, HDFC looks set to introduce a metal version of DCB that raises the daily and monthly cap of the current PVC DCB.

Not sure about the tap and pay but acceptance issue are less now a days.. as diners card is accepted at all pos which accept rupay.. i am using card for two months in Delhi NCR..Thank you. Will go tomorrow and do this.
Just one more question, do I need to take the print out of the form from HDFC site or will the branch will be able to help with that?
Also, just realised that I can't add Diners card for Samsung pay
Searching a bit more showed that there are lot of acceptance issues especially for tap and pay
Is this the same in tier 1 city? Like Delhi and Mumbai?
I've just been upgraded from Regalia to this so didn't have much idea
This is helpful, thank you.Not sure about the tap and pay but acceptance issue are less now a days.. as diners card is accepted at all pos which accept rupay.. i am using card for two months in Delhi NCR..
Axis atlas is better than idfc wealth and dcb in many cases. it gives flat 4% return if redeeming in miles and 7.2% for accor. Also if use the card for flights and hotels it could give return of 10% for miles and 18% for accor.I have a Regalia First with 5.8L limit, have asked for DCB Metal.
Hopefully it goes through 🤞.
RM said that first 3 months if I spend 1.5L, card will be free for the first year.
Second year onwards 10,000 + GST.
My goal is to spend >8L in 6 months and then try to apply for Infinia paid.
I have a backup card (IDFC Wealth) in places where Diners is not accepted.
I see, that sounds appealing. Problem is that I do not have a relationship with Axis. I might have to shift my salary account from HDFC to Axis to do this. I'm considering it if they do not upgrade the Regalia First card (which is a useless card after all the devaluations now in my opinion)Axis atlas is better than idfc wealth and dcb in many cases. it gives flat 4% return if redeeming in miles and 7.2% for accor. This is what i believe.
There is no need to have account with axis to get credit card. axis bank provide credit card on card to card basis.I see, that sounds appealing. Fastest would be opening a HDFC account and then applying for Add-on card 🤣Hi everyone, just a quick question
I've recieved my DCB Metal today and I want to apply for an add on card. This person doesn't have HDFC account. What would be the fastest way of getting the add on card?
1.Mailing the documents myself to Chennai
2.taking help from branch and submitting documents there
3.Emailing the grievance team and asking them to take documents online?
Also, would it be possible to get the card before 20th of this month?
I have faced acceptance issue only once, that too in a hospital around a year back. This was in Patna, Tier-2 city. Have never faced any issue in Bangalore/Delhi.Thank you. Will go tomorrow and do this.

is there any reason why Tap and Pay won't work but swiping the card will?I have faced acceptance issue only once, that too in a hospital around a year back. This was in Patna, Tier-2 city. Have never faced any issue in Bangalore/Delhi.
Tap and pay issues are very frequent though!
Ah yes, right. But with axis priority account we are able to get two cards LTF, I thought that I’d use that, take Axis Select and Atlas. There is no need to have account with axis to get credit card. axis bank provide credit card on card to card basis.
I did the second option, went to the branch, they helped me with the application. Since the person does not have an hdfc bank account, I had to give:Hi everyone, just a quick question

Nope, no clue !is there any reason why Tap and Pay won't work but swiping the card will?
Tap and pay works if POS has Diners support. Currently majorly it's only HDFC POS machines only.is there any reason why Tap and Pay won't work but swiping the card will?
Did you manage to get any card ltf from axis with priority account?Ah yes, right. But with axis priority account we are able to get two cards LTF, I thought that I’d use that, take Axis Select and Atlas.
I have not shifted to axis yet, but I was offered Select and Atlas LTF.Did you manage to get any card ltf from axis with priority account?
It will be charged when it is posted to your statement..Vistara is going to stop the milestone and CV points for tax payments from next month. Hence HDFC DCB metal could be the next good choice for achieving milestone benefits, but only for high advance tax payers. I paid advance tax today through hdfc gateway ( using axis vistara card ) and wasn't charged 0.8% transaction charges ! Is there any offer going on or I was just lucky ?
Yes I found transaction fees was added after a week in the unbilled spends section itself .It will be charged when it is posted to your statement..
