HDFC Family Banking Related Query

Hello TF Members!

Is there any way to check names of family members linked to my Classic Family Banking in HDFC Bank?

I wanna be sure about it because my RM invited my mom's account to Classic individually when I asked him to add her account into my family group! 😐

Ask your RM to send you a screenshot/picture of the Family ID linked accounts (they can't share anything as such, but he'll do that if required). Don't take anything at face value. If necessary, approach the BM and if everything fails, contact classicbanking@hdfcbank.com or your respective tier and request for an RM change. If no satisfactory response still, you can always contact RBI Ombudsman after 30 days.

Account variant doesn't matter here, you have to maintain 1L in your savings account and you will be eligible for Classic Banking. Once you become a classic customer then you may add your family members too.

You will receive a platinum debit card LTF if you maintain a balance of 1 lakh, whereas family members can keep a balance of Rs. 0.

for family banking how much Mab account i will have to open. i am currently planning to open saving max account 25k mab and get eashyshop platinum dc ltf.

40K Total MAB

Banks generally deny opening new account to existing customer. They say that they would need special approval, blah blah. This may be a reason that people choose to upgrade and additional reason being managing more than one account in a bank.

In my area they are always in run for new bank accounts.

Yep, I recently closed my old HDFC Savings Max and then get my Customer ID deleted and then got a totally new Customer ID (got a fancy one) & Account Number.

Any account is technically eligible to be added to family banking

Just visit branch, meet your rm and tell your req for family banking.
