In my case 7 days lapsed but still my family member didn't receive any invitation link to classic banking.

I have experienced it personally, most of the times they don't do it or maybe not interested in doing it. I had reported to the grievance redressal portal and got classic on the same day of reporting after struggling with these branch people for a month. The employee who's my RM too now, was asking me why did I send mail etc., I just told him that result is already visible šMy rm was gaslighting me saying he initiated and its linked. But my relative did not get any link for the process. This was going on for 2 months.
Finally fed up i sent a mail to grievance redressal and magically my rm was calling me every 10 mins to get it linked. And my relative for the link in less than a hour from when he called me.
He had the gall to ask me why I sent mail to grievance team.
then after few days branch manager called asking if everything was fine now and sent this mail.

if you have preferred status then you can have zero balance acc in any acc but cumulative balance should be above 2 lakhs for maintaining preferred status..I've doubt regarding hdfc regular current account. I've preferred banking. Do I need to maintain AMB (ā¹ 10,000) for regular current account if I add it to family banking?
Earlier only Imperia had that zero balance feature on current accounts. Preferred and classic customers also had to maintain balance as per the account's criteria. Bro can you share how the From-email and the entire screenshot hiding your personlas how it looks .You will get quarterly/semi-annually emails from HDFC bank to review your member accounts which are added in your family banking group. All family accounts that are currently added to your family banking group will be visible there. (only primary member will get this email)
