HDFC giving credit limit of Rs. 5000

I have got new HDFC credit card with only Rs. 5000 credit limit. During credit card application it was showing credit limit will be 1.25 Lakhs. Its been many days, I still have Rs. 5000 credit limit. Even welcome letter of physical card was not showing credit limit. I already have another HDFC credit card with credit limit Rs. 75000. I am in utter confusion about my credit limit. Useless Customer care also has no idea about merged credit limit.

I had same issue, the limit stayed 5K till I activated my floater Card (Tata Neu) pushed it to last day was trying for LTF trick which didn't work. Once I activated Limit was changed to Original Card limit in 2-3 days

More customers a bank has, more arrogant the bank becomes and useless becomes the customer care. Now arrogance of Axis bank is down and HDFC arrogance is rising

I even went HDFC Branch. The foolish girls in branch has no idea about this issue. I think I have to wait till first statement date 16 June 2024

Yes I did transaction. My card was delivered one week ago but HDFC back end team was sleeping. I raised complaint about my credit limit. Now back end team woke up. I am getting sms that today my physical card delivered. HDFC team showing their bosses fake delivery date to buy more time. This is height of laziness

Don't activate the card until this confusion is sorted
