HDFC Global Value Program (GVP) is expired now?

I was looking for details on GVP to enroll for my upcoming international trip and found this. This is the only official place where anything about GVP was detailed as far as I know.

yes gvp is for overall card.. primary and add ons all are covered..

You are right. Even though I had emailed PNO yesterday night, I called them just a minute back on 1800 202 6161 and they took my request. It should be activated within 3 days.

Not sure, in fact I was told to notify customer care once I reached the spends. Hence my question reg. validity - if it's short, I want to get it close to my travel date so that it doesn't expire.

GVP is for one year @199 plus gst per annum and its activated 3-4 working days after we call.. no msg for activation will be received

Do you also have to opt out from the program by call or mail if you don't want to use it anymore? Or the program is valid for one year and you have to keep enrolling every year?

It is opt out. It continues every year till you cancel

Yes, it continued and renewed too in my case of upgrade 4-5 years back

No, but you will see transaction of 199 + gst in the statement or in transactions, which means it is activated.

But i am not seeing that in the transaction and i have a proof that i called hdfc customer care and asked to activate it. Also after a transaction is dine when we get that 1% back

wait till next statement.. will not show immediately, will get a consolidated entry

Usually it takes 3-4 days to show up in transactions list, and cc says it works right away but to be safe it should start giving returns after that transaction shows up
