The relevant portion of the MITC is as under:
"K) Lounge Access Priority Pass - Charge of $27 + taxes, will be applicable on all the lounge visits exceeding the complimentary limit. Infinia, Infinia (Metal Edition): Complimentary priority pass membership for Primary and add-on card holders with unlimited lounge access for priority pass card holder. Diners Club Credit Card - All visits exceeding the complimentary limit will be charged at the prevailing lounge rate inclusive of taxes. Card validation charges for the lounge will be levied and not reversed.
Please ensure the safety of your Priority Pass to avoid misuse. The priority pass is not transferable. Bank has the right to withdraw the Priority Pass membership, or any other benefit associated with your credit card if your card is closed or remains inactive for more than 90 days. These charges will be billed on your subsequent statement within 90 days of date of visit and this transaction will not accrue Reward Points. Currency conversion rate is applicable as on the date of settlement. Complimentary Lounge Access Within India for BizBlack Metal Card and BizPower: Biz Black Metal Card: Unlimited lounge access eligible on making min one transaction of any amount in previous month (excluding first month of card issuance) Biz Power: two complimentary domestic lounge access every calendar quarter, additional two complimentary domestic lounge access (excluding first quarter of card issuance) on min spends of Rs.75,000 in previous calendar quarter."
I have got double confirmation from the BH and ZBH that there is nothing like paid visits using PP of Infinia, as of now. They have informed that the product team has been consulted by them and there is no any confirmation about the discussion of paid PP in domestic lounges.
However, one thing is sure that keeping in view the queries that they have been receiving and the pessimistic approach, the bank can definitely think that they could do so.

1st of all you, @theXfactor and another member had created duplicate threads. The topic you wanted a separate thread was originally posted by another user. Therefore all your threads were merged with his thread.
He himself first posted the same message in this thread. Later created another thread( the thread where your thread was merged) and deleted his post here.
The confusion happens when 5 people create same thread without once searching about it (or atleast check latest threads) And we recieve merge report on it. I guess the temptation of being first trumps everything.

Is there a perk of being first? At least I’m not aware and don’t want to be one here. If I had posted something on a thread and later moved it elsewhere would simply mean that it doesn’t belong here and meant for another one. Nothing else.
If I do not get any email about this change, I would rather keep using PP at domestic lounge, and if I get charged, will contact customer service, Most likely as goodwill gesture, they will reverse it (except the GST), but will be sure that there is a change rather than loosing sleep over some speculations.
That's the right way to go about it. Also, even the GST will be reversed.
GST gets harder to reverse since its tagged to Govt. Might get lucky though.

I came to know about it from Twitter, checked the HDFC website and the T&C pages to verify and decided to inform the community. Before creating the new thread, I did check if someone else had created a Devaluation thread. I did not find any and hence proceeded.
You mentioned you merged multiple threads, but you did not keep even a single one active which really talked about the PP Devaluation from start. Instead you merged with this thread which was not at all related to Devaluation. Even when multiple members pointed out, you decided to shut them, instead of accepting your mistake. Mistakes happen with everyone but you should not double down on them.
This community has helped me a lot and I am doing the same for it. Not for some BS Temptation.

In the end it was never a devaluation (so it's good those threads were closed else people would go even more haywire), people were just quick to jump
Especially in this day and age when fake news spreads so fast at least in this community we should be more mindful of what we share and if it is actually correct or not
I agree with your constructive argument. HDFC updated their terms removing 'inside India' from both, website and the lounge pdf. That cannot be a coincidence. Now they are giving different replies to different members. They have clearly messed it up.
What I do not agree is the Mod merging our threads with this thread which was created by a person charged on PP due to incorrect no. of guests entered by Lounge representative. Even if one of the other member's Devaluation threads was kept active, we could had concluded the same over there and it should had been fine. You can't merge a Policy thread and a Lounge Representative Mistake thread into one. And when pointed out, keep doubling down.
Anyways let's close this thread now. In conclusion, HDFC updated their website and Lounge pdf but are giving different details to everyone asking about it. Until we receive an official mail, we should continue to use our PP in India. That's all.

@TechnoFino @BVC Can we please close this thread? Until HDFC sends an Official Mail, we should continue using Infinia's Priority Pass in India.
OP did mention about it. HDFC stuck saying it was PP guest charges and refunded him approx half of the amount.
I wish they allowed in lounge without ticket also 🥲 ice cream khane ka Mann kar raha hai free ki
