If you can use even 1 night a year in say a courtyard or similar property each year, go for it. I see a lot of properties with price around 7-10 k INR available under 15k pointsSo I'll only get points for the Booking I make the Welcome Benefit is a 1 night voucher amounting upto 15k points?
Is it worthy I only have this Booking no future bookings or anything. So what would be your advice on this?

Yes, the welcome/renewal benefit is a 1 night voucher upto 15k points. You can top up another 15k points (if you have) to make booking for hotels where 1 nights is upto 30k points for example I had a 1 night voucher upto 40k for reaching titanium (75 nights) last year, I used the voucher and 4k points for an hotel in Dublin which was available for 44k points
Elite nights posted after the card renewal within a month or so. For example I applied in Nov 2023 got nights in dec 2023 and dec 2024Anyone has any idea when are elite night credits for this card supposed to post. For the US based Marriott cards (Amex / Chase), the nights always post on 1st January (except 1st year where they post within a few weeks from card opening).
I was thinking that the nights posting for cards will be same globally, but as my nights for 2025 didn't post yet, I am guessing they will post with card anniversary. Has the nights posted for anyone this year (2025)?
Thanks, this is strange that Marriott uses different dates for night posting in India and USElite nights posted after the card renewal within a month or so. For example I applied in Nov 2023 got nights in dec 2023 and dec 2024
According to t&c, elite nights expires on 31st December irrespective of card anniversary date (or when they were posted). What is impact of that?Elite nights posted after the card renewal within a month or so. For example I applied in Nov 2023 got nights in dec 2023 and dec 2024
You got in December and then expired on 31st December. Is that same year or next year? The impact is u plan ur nights and stays accordingly. The whole of 2023 I stayed about 17 nights at Marriott so when this 10 came in dec23 became gold for 2024. Used this nicely got breakfast and many suite upgrades. Breakfast they just give bcos we ask. But I got free breakfast on all stays as gold than the year before when I was silver where I got only for 50% stays. Only if platinum they have to give, rest all depends. What I noticed is I get suite if hotel is empty. So just check how busy is hotel how many categories rooms left etc in bonvoy app.
So this year in 2024 I stayed exactly 15 nights plus got 10 in dec24. So will be gold for 2025. I can’t go beyond this bcos I am using Accor as well
Same year. What I got now 1 month ago in dec 24 is included with my 15 stays from Jan to dec 24.. making it 25 nights. So gold till about feb2026. Now my counter is resetYou got in December and then expired on 31st December. Is that same year or next year?
I am Marriott Titanium and also Lifetime platinum and understand Bonvoy program very well.According to t&c, elite nights expires on 31st December irrespective of card anniversary date (or when they were posted). What is impact of that?

Also, if points required for a hotel is more than 15k, can i avail that one free night by paying difference. My guess is it is no.
Not, as I was not in a hurry for marriot account, but got eventually after few days of card approvalMy wife got this card, it did not have the MB number on it. Called HDFC customer care, they said it will take 3-4 weeks after 1st transaction to get email with MB account information. Anybody else have experienced this?
