HDFC NEO CC got rejected

I had received coupon from cred for tata neo hdfc cc. I went to site checked neo infinity is for above 1L/M persons. So I left it there as I don't earn that much. Later on I received a call from one of the CC sellers. She said you'll get it, and also lifetime free. I said let's go ahead. So I did go through everything. The I received a SMS saying check status after 2 days. But I checked before completion of 2 days. It got rejected. The CC executive was blaming me saying you should never check HDFC CC application status before asking to us and within the mentioned period it gets rejected.
Has this happened with anyone before?

I don't know why you tagged me. I am still a HDFC CC virgin (married last year). So, no idea. But, I never trust any agents, unless I want to take risks. At this moment, I can happily live without a HDFC CC. So, I don't care about what the agents promise. I just ignore them.

No, send an email to Grievance.Redressalcc@hdfcbank.com to reconsider your application. Don't stop emailing until they approve it

Also it's no Neo it's Tata Neu. Axis has Neo credit card
