I thought it will be instant approval like TATA Neu or Swiggy card but they took 3-4 days in approval.

But good part is no enquiry.

Have DCB. Got Ultimo FYF approved within a day. Received card and started using it. It will be my go to card for UPI spends and utilities. Airtel Axis + Ultimo combo will be exclusively used for utilities now.

I had applied when it was launched. Somehow it took them about >2 months to approve even though I have Diners Club Black Metal with 7L limit. I have used the phonepe card. The usage through UPI is not as much as you would think because not every business has Credit Card payments through UPI enabled. The rewards are in pennies and I would suggest that one could easily look elsewhere.

Card got approved within 1 hour of emailing to grievance department. Wrote in details and pointed out their unnecessary delays to approve my card.

Yes and No.

SBI rejected my application due to overleverage. Then I applied for HDFC Ultimo and got it approved.
My wife applied for the SBI Black and got it approved, along with an add-on card for me.😀
