HDFC rupay Platinum Debit card for CC payment

Hello everyone,

I have an HDFC EazyShop Platinum RuPay debit card, and I'm considering using it to pay my credit card bills on Mobikwik. Does anyone know if I would be eligible for cashback or any specific benefits when using this card for bill payments?

I'd appreciate any insights or experiences you can share regarding this. Thank you!

I have visa easy shop platinum dc only , but I am not receiving any cash back . I have paid axis cc bill through partly by MobiKwik and as well through bill pay portal

You should've gotten cashback via HDFC Billpay portal. MobiKwik isn't working now. It won't give cashback.

To check the Cashback-
Go to NetBanking> Cards> Debit cards> Enquire> Cashback enquiry & Redemption.

It takes 24-48 hours for cashback credit after transaction.
You can redeem cashback in multiples of 250 only.

Nope , it’s been 10 days haven’t got anything. My net banking layout has changed to new layout and unable to find the enquiry option . In my HDFC mobile app it is clearly shown as zero reward points

Add money in airtel payments bank via hdfc dc and pay with that airtel bank to cc via mobikwik

Adding money to airtel payments bank via hdfc dc gives 1% cashback. Is it counted as Utility?

When you check reward points on app, it shows two types of cashback.
1st is promotional cashback
2nd is loyalty program

Have you checked both sections?
You'll receive Cashback on 2nd section.

Should I go for closing this savings account as I'm not getting the 1% cashback?
Any other way to get cashback via mobikwik or other platform?

Its not confirmed. you can pay using platinum dc.

I tried this morning for Axis Bank credit card bill payment but there was no option of debit card. Only savings account option was there. Don't know how to get 1% cashback or is it the time to close the savings account.

If you are using HDFC netbanking old web interface then its working now. If HDFC bank already moved your account to use new web interface then I think its not giving DC option there. You need to wait then.

You can pay other person Credit card bill payment in hdfc bill payment portal

Yes if give e-mail access to mobikwik and mobikwik fetch your cc bill you can get 1% upto 100rs
